My Boys Season 1
The first season of the comedy series My Boys premiered on 28th November 2006. The season aired a total of twenty two episodes. In the first episode called the Pilot, PJ falls for the reporter of The Chicago Tribune, Bobby who is reluctant to date her as she is one of the guys. Brendan informs everyone about his breakup with Wendy. PJ gets confused about her feelings for Bobby who gifts her signed baseball but ends up dating Claire. Meanwhile PJ tries to setup Stephanie with Mike’s friend Amad who is smitten by PJ instead. The whole gang is fed up of the dating slump and decides to try their luck at a single’s bar where PJ spoils the plan. PJ’s relationship with Hank grows and the boys try to find new places to hang out. PJ makes a deal according to which she has to spend time with Wendy so that the guys can hang out with Hank. PJ is torn between her friends and Hank and breaks up with him as she loves to spend time with her gang more than being with Hank.
PJ is unhappy about all the boys having wrong vibes about Mike’s beautiful new girlfriend. Andy freaks out while his wife is away and Brendan moves out of PJ’s house to live with Wendy. Trouty takes the gang to an elite club where he rescues PJ from the aggressive club manager. PJ’s aunt is in town and has a fling with Kenny. Mike is fired from his job and gets upset with Bobby who already knew this. The gang takes Andy on a trip to keep secret the surprise birthday party that Meredith is throwing for him. PJ and Brendan are facing trouble in their friendship. PJ gives a poor performance on a local cable show while Stephanie plans a trip for PJ and herself to Italy with yet to be found boyfriends. PJ breaks off her relationship with the Cubs pitcher while Bobby turns out to be a millionaire and Stephanie faces financial problems. PJ’s boyfriend from college comes to the town and revives her feelings while Mike starts working for Kenny. The gang confronts Brendan about the change in his attitude while PJ’s college editor from New York comes to visit her. The gang attends the Andy’s housewarming party when it is revealed that Meredith is pregnant and PJ meets Evan. At a poker game, the guys try to outdo each other in testing their pain limits. In the final episode of the season that was aired on 10th September 2007, PJ still has not found a boyfriend to go with her on the trip to Italy. When she finally decides on the name, she gets a pleasant surprise.
Seasons Top Ranked Episode – Douchebag in the City
This was the nineteenth episode of the season and was aired on 27th August 2007. In this episode Brandon’s attitude towards his friends changes considerably after his social status rises. Meanwhile, from PJ’s former editor comes to visit her with a group of friends but thing turn out differently than what she had planned. Andy makes new friends in his new neighborhood while Kenny is not happy with the piece of memorabilia that Mike has brought for the store.
