What happens when a woman is overpowered by the men in her life?
When she is surrounded and influenced so much by them, will she become one of them?
This is what happens with Penelope Jane “P.J.” Franklin, who is the lead protagonist of the My Boys episodes.
Penelope (played by Jordana Spiro) is a sports writer for the Chicago Sun Times, whose life is largely dominated by her group of male friends.
Penelope finds it hard to find love in her life, due to her unconventional interests and tomboyish attitude.
All this happens, while she deals with all the “boys” in her life, including her brother, her ex-boyfriend, her best friend and a sports writer of a rival publication.
Wow! That is quite a few men!
