Kyle Howard is an American actor who was born and bought up in the small town of Loveland. He is born into a family where every member is die-hard fan of the Cubs. He attended the Truscott Elementary School and then moved on to study at Bill Reed Middle School. It was here that Kyle discovered his passion for acting. Later he worked for the Reporter Herald and also ran a paper route so that he could earn the money to buy a car and drive to Los Angeles. In his spare time he likes to play to play guitar and go golfing and surfing.
Kyle started out as an actor when he was in the eighth grade by playing a role in a school play. He then acted in other plays like The Sound of Music, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory etc. He later moved on to do roles on television in shows like Opposite Sex, Grosse Pointe, Boston Public, Providence, The Drew Cary Show, Run of the House, Related and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation before he was selected to play the role of Bobby Newman on My Boys. He has also worked in movies like Extreme Movie, Easy Six, House Arrest, Address Unknown, Townies and Orange Country etc.

In My Boys he plays the role of Bobby Newman. He comes from one of the wealthiest families in the city and works as a sports reporter for the Chicago Tribune covering the Cubs. He had earlier been dating PJ, but the two are trying to hide this from the group. Bobby is confused about his feelings for PJ as at the end of the second season he doubts his decision about marrying Elisa.
